Privacy policy
Effective October 17, 2026
This policy explains what personal data Neme6 (neme6.com) processes, what it is used for and what your rights are. It follows Colombian data protection law (Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1377 of 2013) and, when we operate in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
1. Data controller
Neme6 is the controller of your data. For any question, write to support@neme6.com.
2. What data we process
- Account: your mobile number and, if you use those options, your email address and the basic data of your Google account (name, email and identifier).
- Profile: given names, family names, birth date and country.
- Sports data: teams, entries, lineups, results, goals, cards, suspensions and statistics.
- Data other people enter about you: organizers and team managers can register players, referees and officials with their name, birth date and mobile number.
- Guardians: the guardian's mobile number, their relationship to the minor and the authorizations given or withdrawn, with the date and the version of the accepted text.
- Technical data: the session cookie, security logs (with the IP address hashed) and the history of changes to results, entries and authorizations.
3. What we use it for
- Providing the service: creating competitions, registering teams, checking player eligibility and keeping results, standings and suspensions.
- Signing you in and sending you access codes and invitations by SMS or email.
- Publishing results, standings and statistics of public competitions.
- Security, fraud prevention and auditing results.
- Handling your requests and meeting legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data.
4. Minors
To register a player under 18, their guardian must authorize it through a link sent to the guardian's phone. Without that authorization the minor is not eligible to play.
Minors are private by default: on public pages they appear only as team and jersey number (for example, “Juventud Gaitana #14”), without name or photo, unless the guardian authorizes a public profile.
We show no ads on minors' pages or youth editions, and we never use minors' data for advertising. The guardian can withdraw the authorization at any time.
5. What is public
Public competitions show team names, results, standings, and the goals and cards of adult players. Your mobile number, email, birth date and authorizations are never public.
6. Who we share your data with
- Organizers and team managers of the competitions you take part in, only what they need to run them.
- Providers that serve us, under contract and only for that purpose: hosting (Fly.io, servers in the United States), SMS and email delivery, and Google if you sign in with Google.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
Because our servers are in the United States, your data is transferred outside your country. We require those providers to offer an adequate level of protection.
7. Cookies
We use a single essential cookie (neme6_session) to keep you signed in. We use no advertising or analytics cookies.
If we ever use them, we will ask for your consent first, and rejecting them will be as easy as accepting them.
8. How long we keep it
For as long as you have an account or the competition you took part in needs it.
If you delete your account, we erase your identity (name, contact details and photo) and keep the sports facts (games and scores) attached to an anonymous person, so that standings and other teams' histories stay correct. Audit logs are kept as long as needed to handle complaints.
9. Your rights
You can access, update and correct your data, ask for proof of your authorization, know how we use it, withdraw your authorization and ask us to delete it when there is no legal or contractual duty to keep it. In Colombia you can also file a complaint with the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC).
If you are in the European Union, you also have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and you can complain to your country's data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
Write to support@neme6.com. We answer questions within 10 business days and complaints within 15 business days at most.
10. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), single-use access codes, hashed session storage and role-based permissions.
11. Demo version
neme6.com currently runs as a demo: the test data is fictitious and is erased every time the service restarts. Do not enter other people's real data in the demo.
12. Changes
We will publish any change here with its date. If the change is significant, we will let you know.
